This website and its online booking service are managed by The Motorists Organisation Ltd (TMO), trading as Book My Garage. TMO is the data controller for website bookings.
We only use your details to manage enquiries, bookings and services you ask for.
What we collect
- Your name, email address, phone number and postal address.
- Your vehicle registration, MOT information and booking details.
- Basic website and cookie information used to keep the site working and understand how it is used.
We do not ask for bank or card details through this website.
Why we use it
- To send your booking request to the garage and manage the service.
- To reply to questions and provide booking updates.
- To maintain a Book My Garage account, if you create one.
- To request feedback after your visit.
- With your permission, to send service or MOT reminders and relevant offers.
Who receives your details?
Booking details are shared with D & B Autocare so the team can confirm and complete your booking. TMO may also use trusted service providers that are required to keep your information secure and use it only for the agreed service.
If information is processed outside the EU, TMO will use appropriate safeguards to protect it.
We do not sell, rent or lease your personal data.
How long is it kept?
Your information is kept only while it is needed to provide the service, operate your account or meet legal requirements. It is then deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete, restrict or transfer your information, or object to how it is used. You can also opt out of direct marketing at any time.
